1. Can I request for a mortgage Facility via NMB Account?

Yes.You can apply mortgage via NMB account

By bank to bank transfer or remittance platforms

Valid passport/Nida, VISA/Permit, Utility bill and Completed NMB Application forms.

ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENTS

  1. National Identity Card (NIDA ID) or Valid Tanzanian Passport
  2. Proof of residence by submitting any of the below;
    1. Visa/or
    2. Resident Permit issued by the respective country authority/or
    3. Any other document issued and recognized by the respective country authority as a proof of residence.

FOR NON CITIZEN TANZANIAN DIASPORA ( Obtain any of the three identification document)

  1. National Identity card issued by a country other than the United Republic of Tanzania
  2. Passport issued by the country other than the United Republic of Tanzania
  3. Driving Licence
  4. Voter’s Registration Card
  5. Employee’s Identification Card; or
  6. Student’s Identification card.

FOR MINOR ACCOUNT

  1. Parent to provide full KYC as mentioned above
  2. Minor’s birth certificate or valid passport for the minor
  3. For Diaspora who is a guardian NOT a parent of the Minor in addition to the above MUST submit a legal document for proof of guardianship.
